Job Shadowing Experience - Growise X Care Hospital
Role: Filmmaker, Interviewer & Editor
Filmed and edited a video showcasing Growise's partnership with Care Hospital, where kids interested in pursuing a career in medicine had the opportunity to shadow doctors and experience the profession firsthand. My responsibilities included capturing footage of the kids interacting with hospital staff, conducting interviews, and editing the video. I used two Sony cameras, a DJI drone, a 3-axis gimbal, Rode lav mics, and softbox lighting for the interviews, with Premiere Pro for editing.
The project posed a unique challenge due to the organic nature of the shoot, which couldn’t be pre-planned. To tackle this, we conducted a recce to get a sense of the locations and activities beforehand, allowing us to strategize our shots. Additionally, we curated a list of questions to interview the kids and crafted a narrative from their responses. The end result effectively showcased how Growise guided these future doctors, and the video turned out really well, resonating with both the kids and the audience.
